Sounds good.

I've wanted to write a screenplay for a book I read years ago, but I have no idea what a screenplay should look like.

From what I understand, screenplays look more like instruction manuals with dialogue.

I used to be passionate about writing a "fairytale for grown-ups." But I just haven't written anything none-academic and creative since I stopped RPing years ago. Hopefully with my impending move to Chicago, I'll gain some more life experience and motivation. Glad to hear some of you folks are still going strong too. Makes me a little proud to know ya'll back in the nubby old days!

Van, go read John Connolly's fantastic Book of Lost Things. Even if it's only the author's note at the front, it will be of great use to you in that quest.

NECROPOST!

Anyone else doing NaNoWriMo this year? It's 'National Novel Writing Month' and the goal is that in November you write a 50,000 word novel. Doesn't have to be any good, it just has to be. You write as much as you can and don't delete anything. And by the end of the month you have a manuscript!

It's my first year doing it, and I'm going the whole hog since it's also Movember. I shall be shaggy like an author. But damned if I won't get this done!
